PLAYER OF THE MATCH
That's it from the second ODI. Afghanistan have literally blown away the Bangladesh team here. That too despite scoring only 190. Ibrahim laid the platform for the win and Rashid and Azmatullah just put the finishing touches. Bangladesh's batting imploded as well while trying to deal with world-class spin bowling. Bangladesh batters will have to go back to the drawing board and we will retire for the day as well. Take care!
Hashmatullah Shahidi I Afghanistan Captain: Very happy for the series win. I think first of all, Ibrahim played well. When I was batting, I thought 220 would be a good score. Credit goes to the bowlers. They bowled really well. I think Azmatullah gave us a good start and momentum. I asked him after the 6th over, he wanted to bowl and got us a wicket. Rashid is a world class bowler. He always contributes for the team. I congratulate him for his five-wicket haul.
Mehidy Hasan I Bangladesh Captain: We bowled really well. We could have chased this. Very bad batting. We needed to get partnerships at the top order. It would have been a different scenario. No batter took responsibility. We are disappointed. We have one match left. We have to come back strongly. The batters need to improve and take responsibility.
Ibrahim Zadran I Player of the Match: I was just trying to stay positive. We were giving them wickets. I was focusing on getting partnerships. I knew if I bat longer, we will get to a good score. I was happy with the intent. I was trying to get some quick 30-40 runs at the end. The wicket wasn't easy. We knew we would give them a tough time during the bowling and the fielding.
21:52 Local Time, 17:52 GMT, 23:22 IST: Afghanistan have spun to win here. Rashid led from the front with a fifer. The deck took turn and Rashid did the needful. Azmatullah once again provided the opening in the defence of 191. But Rashid came to the party and never left. The wicket played a big part as it did turn a lot and suited the Afghan spinners. Earlier, Ibrahim Zadran came up with a solid 95 to take his team to 190. It looked below par till the Rashid show began.

Rashid Khan to Rishad Hossain, out Stumped!! Charges out, misses the googly, the keeper did the rest. Was tossed up. Rishad Hossain jumped down and missed the line of the delivery to be out. Rashid Khan gets a fifer. What a white ball talisman! Afghanistan take the series 2-0 with a game to spare. Rishad Hossain st Gurbaz b Rashid Khan 5(15)

Rashid Khan to Tanvir Islam, out Lbw!! Was a flatter one, Tanvir Islam looked to pull and missed it. The ball hit him on the pads and the batter was trapped plumb in front of the sticks. Rashid has his fourth. He has been impossible to deal with today. The batter just reviewed for the sake of it. Tanvir Islam lbw b Rashid Khan 0(8)
