PLAYER OF THE MATCH
That's all from this one. Until next time, it's goodbye!
Lhuan-dre Pretorius | Player of the Match: Just a mindset type of thing. Sometimes I try to hit the ball too hard. It's about options and being clear about the plans. Got a bit frustrated after the powerplay after a couple of dots. Davey and Raza, both very senior players, told me to stay calm, hit the gaps and that I can catch up at the end. Communication was clear that I wasn't going to go (to the T20 WC) so I could just back myself and be free and enjoy the game. Has been a tough couple of months in the T20 format. Glad to get a score and hopefully I can carry on for the team.
Miller | Paarl Royals captain: Obviously was a terrible start. From there we trained really hard in the camp. It's just about reflecting and being honest with each other. Just go and enjoy yourself and do what you do best. I thought it was a great score. Phenomenal batting upfront. End of the day we got over the line which was what we wanted. Pleased with how the guys are moving forward. Nice to have Raza there in the middle overs. We've done really well locally. Moving away from home we haven't done too well. Was about making sure we have enough ammo when we move to the Highveld.
Rashid Khan | MICT captain: It was the kind of wicket where you score 170-180. Overall it was a good effort. After conceding 90-plus in first 10 overs, it was good effort to pull it back. Can't think about it too much. Have three more games in the next four days. Everyone is experienced and knows what to do. Got few off the middle, was struggling little bit with the bat but happy to contribute.
21:02 Local Time, 19:02 GMT, 00:32 IST: What a game and what a finish! Linde so nearly got his team over the line! A couple of yards the difference between MICT registering their first win and crashing to their third straight defeat of the season. Unfortunately for them it was the latter. They had an excellent powerplay with Rickelton and van der Dussen smashing 61 off it. But the game turned around in the middle overs as they collapsed from 77/0 to 118/6. Raza took 3/27 in that phase and found great joy in the conditions where the ball gripped, stopped and turned. MICT looked out of it at that point but a quickfire 35 from captain Rashid sparked things back to life, only to fall agonizingly short in the end.

Ottneil Baartman to Linde, FOUR, Linde falls short by a couple of yards! That's all there was in it. Baartman has his hands on the head, he knows he has escaped. Wasn't a bad delivery. Got it very full outside off, and Linde still managed to scythe it over backward point. So close to clearing the ropes but it drops just short. MICT lose by a run!
19.5
Ottneil Baartman to Boult, 1 run, slower one it is and Boult gets a thick inside edge as he looks to slog. There was enough purchase for the off-cutter to miss the middle of the bat. He had an almighty swing at it
Trent Boult, right handed bat, comes to the crease
Miller and Baartman involved in a discussion. Will it be another slower one?

Ottneil Baartman to Rabada, out Caught by Lhuan-dre Pretorius!! This time it's a miscue and Pretorius takes a fine catch running across from long-off. The match continues to swing this way and that. Slower one again, it's on a good length, Rabada looks to slog but slices it off the outside half. Six and out. Rabada c Lhuan-dre Pretorius b Ottneil Baartman 6(2) [6s-1]
Ottneil Baartman to Rabada, THATS OUT!! Caught!!

Ottneil Baartman to Rabada, SIX, would you believe it! Rabada comes in and smacks the first one out of the ground! Slower one angling away outside off, it's in the slot and Rabada launches it over long-off
Kagiso Rabada, left handed bat, comes to the crease
Fine leg and third man in the ring, going to be a slower one

Ottneil Baartman to Rashid Khan, out Caught by Rubin Hermann!! High ball, long-off settles under it and takes it! Rashid departs after a quickfire knock. He's not able to finish the job and Royals will feel good about the equation now. Slower length ball across off stump from round the wicket, he swings across the line, slices it off the outside half and it's a simple catch. Rashid Khan c Rubin Hermann b Ottneil Baartman 35(18) [4s-2 6s-3]
Ottneil Baartman to Rashid Khan, THATS OUT!! Caught!!

Ottneil Baartman to Rashid Khan, 2 runs, slower ball that's very full, Rashid isn't able to get under it as he swipes it wide of long-on
Ottneil Baartman [3.0-0-38-2] is back into the attack
Baartman to bowl the final over with MICT needing 15. He's coming in from round the wicket

Mujeeb to Rashid Khan, 1 run, a full toss and Rashid slices it straight up in the air. Oh it's going to land safely! Loops over Mujeeb's head and falls behind him as he runs back. Rashid gets away with another mishit and will keep strike for the final over
