That's all from this game from all of us here. We will be back with more WWC action. Do join us then. For now it's bye bye.
Harmanpreet Kaur | India captain: Very happy, very important game for all of us and I'm sure everyone back home is happy as well. Our bowling was great. Kranti bowled really well, she was outstanding and Renuka helped her in getting the breakthroughs. We created so many chances, unfortunately we dropped it, but in the end when you win you are happy. It wasn't an easy pitch to bat on, we wanted to bat longer and see how many runs we can get. It's been raining and there was a hold on the pitch. We wanted to keep wickets in hand. The key was keeping wickets, Richa batted really well and gave us that crucial 30 runs. (on areas of improvement) There are a lot of areas but we are happy we won, just want to go with the momentum. Now we go back to India, we know how the pitches play there, we will look at the combinations and what team we need to play.
Fatima Sana | Pakistan captain: In the powerplay we gave a lot of runs. In the death overs also we lost some extra runs. When I bowled it felt like it was seaming. Danny (Diana Baig) was a little bit confused regarding seam or swing. I was telling her continuously. I think she will be fine in the next match. If we restricted them under 200, it would've been a good total for us. I still believe that today's batting lineup was good because they are pure batters in top five. They need to step up. Just need to explore yourself because in batting we need long partnerships. Have to assess conditions and adapt to it. She's main player in our team and is very hardworking (talking about Sidra Amin).

Sidra Amin’s 81 is the second-highest individual score for PAK-W in World Cups, after her own 104 vs BAN-W in Hamilton in 2022.
Earlier, Amin added 69 for the fourth wicket with Natalia Pervaiz, Pakistan’s second-best partnership vs India in ODIs (for any wicket) after 80 between Nida Dar and Nain Abidi in the aforementioned Cuttack 2013 game.
Kranti Gaud | Player of the Match: Feeling really good that I'm the Player of the Match in a World Cup match. People in my village would be proud. They've put on a big LED screen to watch the match. Didi (Harman) told me let's remove one slip as the ball has gotten older but I asked her to keep it there (a catch was taken there). My coach just tells me normal things.
22:46 Local Time, 17:16 GMT, 22:46 IST: No handshakes if anyone's interested. Second win in a row for India and a second defeat in a row for Pakistan. The tone for India was set by the opening bowlers. Both Renuka and Kranti swung and seamed the ball both ways and the openers had no clue. So good was Renuka that she bowled 8 overs in a row at the start. Pakistan were always behind the rate after the first 15 overs and even though Sidra Amin tried her best, it was not enough. She batted superbly, continuing her good work from the recent South Africa series, as she found the boundaries. Her partnership with Natalia Pervaiz gave Pakistan hope but once that was broken, India hammered home the advantage. Amin's wicket sealed Pakistan's fate. India though would be disappointed with their fielding, especially Richa Ghosh who was poor, dropping catches. Also they missed out on LBW reviews, if they had taken, would have gone in their favor. Despite all that, India had too much for Pakistan and ran out comfortable victors. Stay tuned for the post-match stuff...

She uses her feet and drags the drive wide of mid-wicket, Harman gets across and cuts it off to her left, she shies and hits direct. Diana is caught well short.
