India win!

What a turnaround from the Indian bowlers! Spare a thought for Bangladesh, who would've believed the two points were within touching distance after Litton Das's exceptional batting show early on. It came down to 20 off the last over, and the pair of Taskin Ahmed and Nurul Hasan picked 14 runs! The equation was down to 11 off 2 and 7 off 1 with even a Super Over a possibility but Arshdeep nailed his full ball to deny Nurul on the final delivery. The win gives India six points and a step towards the last-four.

While we wait for the toss, here's something for you to binge on...

- First up..on India's fielding sloppiness and why there's no real quick-fix.

-Did you know, Australia is a country of early risers looking to always seize the day. That was news to me so this match preview from our man on the ground - Kaushik R - was educational. Give it a read!

Prelude - India's step towards last-four

A win still won't guarantee it yet, but India will take a big step forward towards last-four if they do go ahead and beat Bangladesh tonight. Which, despite their shortcomings in the South Africa defeat, should be fairly routine considering where Bangladesh find themselves in this format. Funnily, they're in contention for the top-four too - with the same number of points as India - but are somehow not in Australia to win the World Cup. Shakib Al Hasan's words, not mine.

India's defeat to South Africa wasn't one to sound alarm bells - because a) South Africa are impressively well-rounded in this tournament and one of the favourites (*whisper it* this might be their year!) and b) they got out of jail against Pakistan in the greatest game of cricket at the MCG to get two crucial points.

So heading into today's game there's a slight sense of comfort, although Bangladesh are on the same points too. Even if they themselves are playing down their chances, you can't rule out a stunner today. Remember what happened the last time these two teams played in a T20 World Cup? Incredible scenes, will be the two best words to describe that evening in Bangalore. Here, refresh your memory with this.
