Good morning and welcome to the final day of the fifth and final Test between India and England. If Day 3 was about KL Rahul and his spectacular 199, then Day 4 was all about Karun Nair. The Karnataka batsman went from an unbeaten 71 to remaining not out on 303 by the end of day's play. It was an innings enough to deflate an opposition and England did seem deflated by the end of it.

The England Test side's dismal tour of India comes to an end today. But what will the final day bring? The visitors still trail by 270 runs as openers Alastair Cook and Keaton Jennings saw through the five overs last evening unscathed. Can England bat out the entire day to pull out a draw on what is a batting-friendly pitch or will the Indian bowlers be all over the Englishmen once again? Sunil Gavaskar believes the only way India can get those ten wickets if England batsmen play 'mentally tired' shots.

Find out when play begins.

Ravi Shastri chooses his words perfectly for this momentous occasion. 'Vintage' is what he calls it at the presentation area. The Indians have been absolutely clinical in the series and more so, on the final day of the fifth Test here at the Chepauk today. Like I had mentioned earlier this morning, if the Englishmen had to lose this game, it had to be a case of losing it in the mind, more than anything else.

Nine long weeks, which were made to look like nine ages, as England kept slipping further with every passing Test match. And today, with one foot on the aircraft and the other reluctantly at the Chepauk, England needed to take care of their mental fatigue, more than the tired fifth day wicket. They failed at it, with Jadeja switching on his 'A' game, as he picked up his career-best figures of 7 for 48 to sink the tourists in the last two sessions of the day. He bowled, he caught, he had batted very well previously, and did everything else, if there was anything, to win it for India today.

The Indian team takes a lap of honour as they get done with the game. What a proud moment as the numbers have been stirred up today. Don't forget to follow the reactions coming in from all around the world here, and for those of you who arrived late, here's our match end report as well.

Hope you have enjoyed our coverage for this series, as much as we have. Until then on behalf of the entire team, this is Shirshendu Roy signing off. Adios..
