Hello and welcome to the live blog of the game between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. Both teams can't afford a slip-up now. Bangalore have eight points and Mumbai have 10. A win will help Kohli's side climb up to the fourth spot and stay alive while Rohit Sharma's side need a win after a moral-sapping loss against SRH in Vizag a few days ago.

! They're making their way to the Chinnaswamy!

so far- Chris Gayle: 4 inns, 13 runs, Avg 3.25, SR 65 KL Rahul: 8 inns, 332 runs, Avg 55.33, SR 143.1

After losing Parthiv early, Mumbai are back on track in the chase and are 39 for 1 after six overs. Rayudu has started opening up while Rohit is taking his time and will anchor the chase. If RCB don't pick at least two wickets after the break, things are going to slip away real fast from them.

Rohit and Rayudu added 58 runs and with the required rate touching nine runs per over, Rohit looks to up the ante and perishes. Aaron roars with his arms aloft. Just a tame length ball, forgive me, but Rohit wanted to mow it over long-on, gets it high on the bat and holes out to ABD in the deep. RCB players are pumped. They needed this and there's still hope for the home fans at the venue.

It's a stunner. Binny is the man at deep cover and boy, hasn't he delighted. Rana looks to devour the flight with a loft over cover, Binny was running across in the deep but doesn't find himself under the ball - finds it looping high over his left shoulder. Now come the acrobatics. Twists whilst off the ground and plucks it out of this Bengaluru air.

RCB aren't going to go down without a fight and if they can keep going on like this, they can hand Mumbai a shock-loss as well. Rayudu is the man walking back. Oh, just frame this catch. This is from de Villiers' backpack of stunners. Rayudu mistimes this flat-batted heave over mid-on, AB comes running from the deep, dives forward, pouches it and executes a side-on somersault to recover.

However, it's going to be tough as Pollard is out there with Jos Buttler.

The visitors need just 26 runs off the last three overs and with Pollard and Buttler out there, it should be walk in the park.

Mumbai have chased down 152 to clinch this game by six wickets and move up the table. RCB were in the game with quick wickets but Pollard hammered 35 and Buttler chipped in with 29 to take the game away from the hosts.

RCB lost their way at the start of the game and from there on, the game just followed an expected script. Rayudu played well for his 44 but the real damage was done by the bowlers. That's it from us folks, hope you enjoyed this live blog. Until next time then ...
