India beat New Zealand in a cliffhanger in Kanpur in the series decider to take the ODI series 2-1. Rohit Sharma scored his 15th ODI century and put together a 230-run second-wicket stand with skipper Virat Kohli who made an accomplished 113 himself. New Zealand started off with a blitz by Colin Munro who took Bhuvneshwar Kumar for 19 runs off the first over. Most of New Zealand's top order got starts but no batsman went past 75. Jasprit Bumrah was the pick of the bowlers taking 3 for 47 and was ably supported by Yuzvendra Chahal who took 2 for 47. Rohit was adjudged Man of the Match for his stellar 147 while Kohli's aggregate of 263 runs including two hundreds earned him series honours.
