Baroda v Andhra
Swapnil Singh's undefeated and breezy 51-ball 50 took Baroda to safety in their Group C game against Andhra in Vadodara. A mini collapse saw them slide from 132 for 2 to 136 for 6. However, Swapnil's cameo saved the day for the beleaguered Baroda side. The hosts were 14 in front when the stumps were drawn.
Andhra collected three points for their efforts.
TN v Tripura
There was no play during the final session of the Ranji game between Tripura and TN in Chennai and it was a stalemate. As TN earned a lead of 99 in the first innings, they collected three points and Tripura one.
The TN think-tank would be disappointed with the result, as they dominated the proceedings but rain and bad light played spoilsport.
The TN camp
Ankit saves MP's blushes
Ankit Sharma's 88-ball undefeated 52 saved MP's blushes as their Group C game against Mumbai finished as a stalemate.
At 66 for 5, the Mumbai camp would have believed they have a chance of achieving a come-from-behind win but it wasn't to be. Naman Ojha also played a key role with a 123-ball 38. Abhishek Nayar and Vijay Gohil snared two scalps each for the visitors.
The under-strength Mumbai camp would would be pleased with picking up three points from the encounter.
Amonkar, Asnodkar pilot Goa to draw

With the West Zone side behind by a mammoth 370 after the completion of first innings of both sides, Himachal held all the aces. But their hopes of an outright win was dashed by the opening duo, who shared a stand of 299 for the opening wicket. Goa, eventually, finished with 426 for 2, when it was declared as a draw.
