India win!
Live Cricket Score - West Indies v India, 2nd ODI, Port of Spain

That was quite a bore. West Indies never looked interested in chasing down the score after losing early wickets, and India were happy to give bowlers likes Hardik Pandya and Ashwin the chance to experiment. In the end, WI survived the 43 overs to end at 205/6.

India win by 105 runs and take a 1-0 lead.
Carter goes as Windies slip further
This is just a formality now. India continue to pick up regular wickets. Carter is trapped LBW to Ashwin as they slip to 132/5. The required rate is beyond 13 an over now.
West Indies two down in no time
Kieron Powell and Jason Mohammad are out for ducks, with Bhuvneshwar Kumar striking in consecutive overs to leave the hosts crippled. They are in need of a miracle now.
Shai Hope however has kept the 'Hope' up with some fine batting. Although Lewis fell soon after, Hope's innings has kept Windies afloat.
India finish with 310/5
Virat Kohli failed to get his hundred, Shikhar Dhawan failed too, but Ajinkya Rahane stood firm to notch up his third ODI ton to help lift India to a mammoth total. 310/5 in 43 overs - West Indies have a tough ask on their hands.
Join us in a while for their reply.
Rahane falls after hundred
Ajinkya Rahane notches up a superb third ODI hundred. The right hander has made full use of his chance up the order to keep himself in contention. A fine hundred that has also given India a chance to set sights on 300+. He is out bowled soon after and Hardik Pandya comes in. Expect fireworks.
None apparently. Pandya is out for four of five balls, a knock that also included a reprieve for a no ball. Kohli meanwhile has set himself up for pyrotechnics. He's gone past fifty and looks in prime touch
Dhawan falls after fifty
Another opportunity thrown away by Dhawan. He got himself to a great start, but has failed to capitalise on it. He's out stumped for 63. However, he's given the side the platform for India to put up a massive total.
Rahane meanwhile has also brought up his fifty. Will be interesting to see if he makes use of his start
Solid start for India

India know that they will have to score quickly, with rain threatening to play spoilsport. Shikhar Dhawan and Ajinkya Rahane have ensured exactly that for India as they helped the team raise their fifty runs in eight overs.
Pitch Report
It's overcast, but the rain has stopped. The pitch looks damp, there will be a bit of bounce, but no pace on this. It's important for the bowlers to pitch it up. There will be some early mositure on the surface, bowling first is the way to go: Jeff Dujon
West Indies win toss, both teams unchanged
So the hosts and won the toss and elected to bat first. Both teams have gone in with unchanged sides.

Here we go. It looks like we will finally have some cricket. The rain has let up and the teams are readying for the warm-ups. The game has been cut to 43 overs a side
