Third win, sixth loss
Live Cricket Score - RCB vs GL, Match 31, IPL 2017

Gujarat Lions have registered their third win of the season as Suresh Raina and Ravindra Jadeja take them across to a seven-wicket win. The result means that Delhi Daredevils are now at the bottom of the table. However, RCB are tottering with only five points from nine matches. They can only move to 15 points even if they win all their matches from hereon. Will be very difficult for them to qualify for the playoffs.
The blitz ends
Aaron Finch is done with the carnage. He holes out to AB de Villiers at long on. But his 72 has ensured RCB is well and truely out of the competition. No celebration from the RCB players, nor any celebration from the fans. M Chinnaswamy Stadium is dead, at the moment.
Unflinched
Aaron Finch came out to bat at No 4, soon after Gujarat Lions had lost both their openers in quick succession. However, the Australian batsman showed no nerves and went after the bowlers quite successfully. He has some huge sixes and tore into the RCB attack.
McCullum follows
A poor shot by Brendon McCullum. With a long on in place, Brendon McCullum looks to clear the fielder, but fails to time it and ends to holing out to the fielder. Second wicket and the chase hasn't got off to a smooth start for the visitors.
Badree strikes
With the way Ishan Kishan was striking the ball - against both Sreenath Arvind and Samuel Badree, it seemed the move to promote him worked. However, Badree eventually gets the better of the youngster by trapping him plumb in the third over itself.
Off with the chase
In a surprising move, Ishan Kishan has come out to open the innings with Brendon McCullum. Maybe it was to nullify the effect of Samuel Badree at the top. Meanwhile, Sreenath Arvind is causing some trouble to the batsmen, especially Brendon McCullum.
The wagging tail
Aniket Choudhary and Sreenath Aravind played a superb hand for the ninth wicket to take RCB's total to 134. After a rather disappointing start by the RCB top order, Virat Kohli would be happy with the final score. The total has given RCB a good total to bowl at Gujarat Lions, who would still believe they are in a better position to win the match.
Falling apart
No 7 down. Samuel Badree, who surprisingly walked out to bat at No 8 skied the ball high to allow Ishan Kishan enough time to run 30 yards and take a superb cacth.
