Sunrisers Hyderabad have roped in Sri Lankan pacer Dilshan Madushanka as an injury replacement for Brydon Carse for the remainder of the ongoing Indian Premier League 2026.

Carse suffered a hand injury while batting in the nets ahead of the season opener against Royal Challengers Bengaluru.

Madushanka, a left-arm medium pacer, will join SRH for INR 75 Lakhs. He had previously been a part of the Mumbai Indians squad but hasn't played an IPL game so far.

SRH, who are currently without their skipper Pat Cummins, who is recovering from injury, have registered two wins so far in five games this season. They sit at the fourth position on the points table following their 57-run win over Rajasthan Royals on Monday, and will next play Chennai Super Kings on April 18.
