Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC) have confirmed that India's men's team will tour for a three-match T20I series, as reported by Cricbuzz earlier.
The matches, scheduled for July 23, 25 and 26, will be played in Harare.
India last toured Zimbabwe for five T20Is in 2024, when Shubman Gill led a rookie side at the start of a new T20 World Cup cycle. India lost the first T20I but then went on to win the series 4-1.
"Matches against India always generate enormous interest and this is a fantastic opportunity for our players to test themselves against the world champions on home soil," ZC Managing Director Givemore Makoni said.
"Following our encouraging performances at the ICC Men's T20 World Cup, this series gives us a strong platform to build momentum and continue growing as a competitive force in international cricket."
There was also confirmation of Zimbabwe's tour of India in January 2027, which the BCCI had already announced as part of its home 2026-27 season. Zimbabwe will play three ODIs across Kolkata (January 3), Hyderabad (January 6) and Mumbai (January 9).
"It is a landmark moment for Zimbabwe to be touring India again for a bilateral ODI series after more than two decades," Makoni further said.
"India is one of the premier destinations in world cricket and this tour represents both an honour and a valuable opportunity for our players.
"We are looking forward to competitive and high-quality cricket and we believe this engagement will further strengthen the relationship between the two cricketing nations while providing invaluable exposure for our team."
