Thakur, Jaiswal back in Mumbai squad for Ranji Trophy quarters

Shardul Thakur and Yashasvi Jaiswal are back in the Mumbai squad. Both have been named in the 16-member squad for the Ranji Trophy quarterfinal against Karnataka, which begins on February 6.

Both Thakur and Jaiswal had missed the last few games for various reasons. While Thakur was out of action due to injury, the reason for Jaiswal's absence was not known even to the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA).

The MCA was not too happy that Jaiswal did not play the last few matches despite being free of international commitments. Mumbai are 42-time Ranji champions.
