Bangladesh Cricket Board announced on Friday that they will host India for three-match ODI series and as many T20Is in August-September 2026.

"The series that was postponed earlier between Bangladesh and India has been rescheduled," Shahriar Nafees, BCB cricket operation in-charge told Cricbuzz.

Indian team is now scheduled to arrive on August 28 with the ODI games to be played on September 1, 3 and 6. The T20Is will be played on September 9, 12 and 13 before the neighbours return home.

BCB announced Bangladesh's home international schedule for the 2026 season on Friday with the calendar featuring bilateral series against Pakistan, New Zealand, India, Australia and the West Indies across the three formats.

"The confirmed itinerary ensures a season full of international cricket in Bangladesh, providing supporters across the country the opportunity to watch top-level cricket at home while details of match venues will be announced in due course," BCB said in a statement.

Pakistan will arrive in Bangladesh on March 9 for a three-ODI tour, between March 12 and 16. New Zealand's white-ball tour of Bangladesh in April-May will kick off with three ODIs, starting April 17, and as many T20Is, beginning on April 27 and concluding on May 2.

Pakistan will return for two Tests - part of the ICC World Test Championship Series. The first red-ball game will be played from May 8-12 and the second from May 16-20.

Australia's white-ball tour of Bangladesh begins on June 5 with three ODIs, before the three-match T20I series is due to be played between June 15-20.

After hosting India, Bangladesh will play a two-match Test series against West Indies that's also a part of the Championship. A three-day warm-up match will precede the Tests, from October 22-24. The first Test is slated for October 28-November 1 window, whereas the second will be played from November 5-9.

The Sri Lanka A team will also tour Bangladesh in May 2026 for a series against the hosts, comprising two four-day matches and three one-dayers.
