Anshul Kamboj shines in Haryana's Super Over win

A thrilling contest in Hyderabad saw Haryana pip Punjab in the Super Over after the two teams were level on scores of 207 after both innings. Haryana just had to score two runs to win after Abhishek Sharma and Sanvir Singh were dismissed for first-ball ducks by Anshul Kamboj in the Super Over.

Earlier, captain Ankit Kumar (51 off 26) and Nishant Sindhu (61 off 31) set up the total for Haryana while Sumit Kumar added a quick 28 to take the side to 207. Ashwani Kumar picked up 3 for 31 in his quota of four overs. In reply, Punjab lost Abhishek Sharma early for six while Prabhsimran Singh departed for 20, both to Kamboj (4-0-26-2). But, Anmolpreet Singh's quickfire 81 off 37 balls put Punjab back in the chase while Sanvir Singh's 16-ball 30 ensured Punjab tied Haryana in the regular 20 overs.

Arshin Kulkarni's unbeaten 89 off 54 and Prithvi Shaw's blistering 36-ball 66 ensured Maharashtra chased down 192 against Kolkata. Rahul Tripathi added the finishing touches with a cameo of 26 from 11 balls to seal the win against Hyderabad. Kulkarni and Shaw had a 117-run opening stand in just 12.1 overs to give Maharashtra the ideal start. Earlier, through a collective batting effort Hyderabad notched 191/8 in their 20 overs with Chama Milind (35*) and Tanay Thyagrajan (32) top scoring.

After getting to 149 for 7 in Lucknow, Railways successfully defended their target by 32 runs courtesy Atal Bihari Rai's (3 for 23) and Shivam Chaudhary's brace. Kerala struggled right from the top with the bat with their talismanic batter Sanju Samson only mustering 19 off 25 during his vigil while centurion from the previous game Rohan Kunnummal scored only 8. Salman Nizar and Ankit Sharma tried to bring Kerala back during their short stays at the crease but were eventually choked by Railways.

Rajasthan won their second game in a row after chasing a target of 170 set by Tripura. Opener Shubham Garhwal blitzed a 20-ball 51 before falling on the last ball of the PowerPlay as Rajasthan had already reached 72. The rest of the batters anchored the innings as they won with seven balls to spare. Earlier, for Tripura, M B Mura Singh hit 40 runs in quick time. Hanuma Vihari scored 36 as well while Kamlesh Nagarkoti picked up a three-wicket haul for Rajasthan.

Baroda vs Puducherry

Puducherry beat Baroda by 17 runs courtesy of Adil Ayub Tunda's four-fer (4 for 30) as they restricted Baroda to 149 after scoring 166 for 9. Captain Aman Khan's 72 took Puducherry to a competitive total while Raj Limbani picked up a three-fer for Baroda. Barring Shivalik Sharma (56) and Atit Sheth (37), no other batter could get their eye in for Baroda.

Fifties from Venkatesh Iyer and Harsh Gawali took Madhya Pradesh to a competitive score of 174 for 8 before bowling out Bihar for 112. Vaibhav Suryavanshi scored only 13 runs off nine deliveries. Shivang Kumar picked up a three-fer while Shivam Shukla and Tripuresh Singh picked up a brace. Venkatesh Iyer chipped in with a wicket with the ball as well during the win.

Three-fers from Prithvi Raj Yarra and Saurabh Kumar saw Andhra clinch a comfortable win by bowling out Odisha for 118, who were in pursuit of Andhra's 184/7. KS Bharat and Ricky Bhui hit 40s before Shaik Rasheed played a quick cameo of 24 of 12 to clinch the win.

Delhi clinched a last-ball thriller as Himmat Singh hit a last ball six off Gurjapneet Singh to complete the chase against Tamil Nadu. Yash Dhull played a match-winning knock of 71 while Ayush Badoni played a crucial 41. Varun Chakaravarthy had a tough day with figures of 4 for 47. Earlier, 50s by Tushar Raheja (72) and Amit Sathvik (54) propelled Tamil Nadu to a good opening start of 115. But they slipped to 166 for 5 from 144 for 1 before a couple of lusty blows from Varun took them to 198. Prince Yadav was the pick of the bowlers for Delhi with 3 for 43.

Prashant Veer's all-round show helped Uttar Pradesh to a facile win in Kolkata. Veer smashed 37* off 10 balls, including 3 fours and 4 sixes, to help UP to a total of 193/6. It also saw contributions from openers Aryan Juyal (51) and Karan Sharma (32) who put on 73 for the first wicket, setting the stage for the likes of Sameer Rizvi and Veer to finish the innings. J&K were barely ever in the run-chase, losing wickets consistently. Vipraj Nigam and Veer combined to pick six wickets between them.

Brief Scores: Uttar Pradesh 193/6 in 20 overs (Aryan Juyal 51; Umran Malik 3-37) beat Jammu & Kashmir 84 all out in 15.3 overs (Qamran Iqbal 20; Vipraj Nigam 3-25, Prashant Veer 3-20) by 109 runs.

Ayush Mhatre's 53-ball 110*, his first T20 hundred, helped Mumbai chase Vidarbha's 192/9 with 2.1 overs to spare. Even though Ajinkya Rahane got out on nought in the second over, Mhatre stitched a 88-run partnership with Suryakumar Yadav for the third wicket and a 85-run partnership with Shivam Dube for the fourth. Mhatre hit 8 fours and 8 sixes in total, making light work of Vidarbha's total that came on the back of a 115-run opening stand between Atharva Taide and Aman Mokhade. Shivam Dube and Sairaj Patil combined to pick six wickets and keep any late surge in Vidarbha's total in check.

Kunal Chandela's 54-ball 94 and Aanjaneya Suryavanshi's 43-ball 71 helped Uttarakhand to a six-wicket win, helping them chase a target of 184 with 11 balls to spare. Earlier, Jagadeesha Suchith picked three and Rajan Kumar two wickets to counter Prerak Mankad's 26-ball 52 and keep Saurashtra's total in check.

Three wickets each for Vaibhav Arora and Arpit Guleria enabled Himachal Pradesh to defend their total of 199/6 with ease, bowling out Services for 116 in 16.5 overs, with Vineet Dhankhar's 19-ball 32 being the lone effort. Mridul Surroch's 35-ball 75 earlier helped HP to a good total, the batter adding 81 runs with Nikhil Gangta for the fifth wicket to overcome an indifferent start.

A one-man show from Anukul Roy helped Jharkhand overpower Karnataka in thrilling fashion in Ahmedabad. Chasing a modest 158, Jharkhand struggled with their top three combining to score just 28 runs. But walking out at No.5, Anukul single-handedly kept Jharkhand alive with some belligerent hitting.

Finding no support at the other end, Anukul kept going despite the efforts of Shreyas Gopal and Praveen Dubey with the ball. Anukul went on a rampage despite losing partners and eventually finished unbeaten on 95 off just 58 as Jharkhand went over the line with just two balls left. Anukul also caused problems with the ball earlier in the evening as he finished with figures of 2/13. Mayank Agarwal top-scored with 37 for Karnataka and if not for a cameo right at the end from Shreyas Gopal, they would have struggled to breach 150.

An incredible six-wicket haul from Mukhtar Hussain blew Chhattisgarh away as Assam picked up a comfortable 48-run win despite posting a moderate total on the board. After dismissing the openers, Mukhtar also came back in the end to add to his tally and eventually finish with figures of 6/20.

The win was initially set up by a whirlwind knock from opener Sumit Ghadigaonkar who hammered 79 off just 49 balls. Riyan Parag failed to make an impact and his dismissal triggered a stunning collapse that saw Assam go from 134/1 to 167/9. In the end, it just didn't matter.

Sakshaim Chaudhary put an early end to Urvil Patel's blitz and Gujarat just didn't have anyone else stepping up after that as they got bowled out for just 127. Mohammed Shami picked up a couple of late wickets for Bengal. The run chase certainly wasn't straightforward for Bengal as the likes of Ravi Bishnoi, Hemang Patel and Harshal Patel made life difficult for the opposition. Abhimanyu Easwaran stood firm with a run-a-ball 34 but it was Shahbaz Ahmed who eventually managed to drag Bengal to a scratchy win.

Lalit Yadav scripted a commendable turnaround for Goa against Chandigarh at the Eden Gardens with an unbeaten 82 off 49 that saw his side recover from 35/4 to finish 173/6. In reply, V Koushik and Arjun Tendulkar wrecked Chandigarh right at the start of the chase by picking two wickets apiece. At 10/4, Chandigarh were also crying for a turnaround which just didn't arrive. The lower order chipped in with some runs that only delayed the inevitable and reduced the margin of defeat.
