Former champions MI Emirates have added Kieron Pollard and Nicholas Pooran as Wildcards for the fourth season of the International League T20, the franchise announced on Wednesday.
A legend for the MI franchise and a winner of 18 T20 titles - the most by any player - Pollard has lifted the ILT20 trophy in 2024, adding to his five IPL titles, two Champions League T20 trophies and two Major League Cricket (MLC) trophies.
Pooran, the fellow West Indian, who has also featured for several MI-owned franchises, has won the ILT20 trophy in 2024 along with two MLC titles with MI New York in 2023 and 2025 respectively. With the team roster completed for the upcoming season, the coaching staff and the players will soon begin pre-season training.
MI Emirates will begin their ILT20 campaign against Gulf Giants on December 4, with the tournament set to kickstart with a clash between Dubai Capitals and Desert Vipers on December 2.
