England players Jofra Archer, Jamie Overton and Sam Curran will not return to India for the remainder of the IPL. However, Jos Buttler, Will Jacks, Liam Livingstone and Jacob Bethell among others, will be reaching the country on Wednesday night to complete their IPL duties.
Archer, Curran and Overton set to miss rest of IPL 2025

A high-ranked official of the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) said his understanding is some England players are returning to complete the league engagements while some others have chosen not to, a development confirmed by their respective franchises as well.
According to information obtained from the ECB and franchises, Buttler, former England white ball captain, will reach Ahmedabad on Wednesday night and the same is the case with Will Jacks, the Mumbai Indians all-rounder, who should be at the Wankhede Stadium for practice from Thursday (April 15). Liam Livingstone, the all-rounder from Lancashire, who is with Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), is believed to be on a flight to Bengaluru. There is, however, no clarity on Phil Salt, the other recruit from England, but Bethell is understood to be on way to India.
