Serial T20 winner Dan Christian to retire after BBL season

Serial T20 winner Dan Christian will call time on his career at the end of this season of the Big Bash League. The 39-year-old revealed on Saturday (January 21) morning that he had already conveyed the decision to his Sydney Sixers teammates.

"Yesterday at training I told my Sydney Sixers teammates that I'll be retiring from playing at the end of the BBL season," Christian wrote on his social media. "Hopefully we can go all the way again this season, but regardless, it's been a great run. I've achieved things and made some memories that I could have only dreamt of as a kid."
