Sydney Thunder were bowled out for a mere 15 runs against Adelaide Strikers in Sydney as they crashed to an embarrassing 124-run loss in a BBL game on Friday (December 16). Thunder also had the ignominy of recording the lowest-ever total in the history of professional T20 cricket. The previous lowest was 21 by Turkey against Czech Republic in August 2019.

With a score of just 15 on the board, on expected lines, none of Thunder's batters reached the double-digit mark. Brendan Doggett, batting at No.10, top-scored for the side with four while extras and Rilee Rossouw contributed three each to the total. In fact, Doggett's four runs was an inside-edged boundary off Wes Agar, which also brought huge cheer from the crowd.
