Stumps, Day 2: Jansen, Maharaj add crucial runs
A 72-run stand between the duo for the seventh wicket ensured that South Africa finished Day 2 with a lead of 124 and are in the driving seat in this Test match. The evening session started with a flurry of wickets for the hosts but in good batting conditions, South Africa soon took over.
South Africa went to Stumps on Day 2 at 289/7, having totalled a crucial 124-run lead after bowling England out for only 165 earlier in the day.
