RCB WIN, LSG ELIMINATED Harshal Patel returned with impressive figures of 1 for 25, bowling the tough overs in the high-scoring encounter to help Royal Challengers Bangalore secure a 14-run win over Lucknow Super Giants in the Eliminator. The foundation of the massive 207-run total was however laid by Rajat Patidar, who scored an explosive, unbeaten century. RCB will now meet Rajasthan Royals in Qualifier 2. Meanwhile, KL Rahul's half century went in vain as his team has been eliminated.

2 wickets in 2 ballsLucknow Super Giants are crumbling again in a crunch situation. Josh Hazlewood with the wickets of a well-set KL Rahul and the dangerous Krunal Pandya.

WICKETHarshal Patel is bowling a dream spell here in this high-scoring encounter. With Marcus Stoinis predictably staying at the wicket, he fell to the offside trap, cutting a short delivery straight to the deep point fielder.

WICKETAfter hitting a couple of sixes in the over, Deepak Hooda has been cleaned up by Wanindu Hasaranga's googly. The third-wicket partnership is broken on 96.

FIFTY A few tight overs by Wanindu Hasaranga and Harshal Patel has helped RCB edge ahead despite KL Rahul's half-century. The LSG skipper is struggling to pace up his innings.

Two Down...

LSG have made a fast start to this steep chase but has also lost a couple of wickets in the process? The right approach? Well, we'll have to wait and watch. For now though, Manan Vohra is gone, caught at midwicket for a 11-ball 19. Credit to Josh Hazlewood for mixing his lengths up against the Indian batter who was looking to throw his bat around and more so, to Harshal Patel who put in a dive to complete that catch.

SIX and gone...

That's that for Quinton de Kock. The LSG opener who recently smashed 140 has perished in the first over of a mammoth chase, and has done so right after tonking the first six of the chase. He went after Siraj - who's enduring a tough IPL season - for a second biggie but didn't connect well at all. Faf du Plessis, running back from mid-on pouched it with ease.

Rajat Patidar's unbeaten 54-ball 112, backed up by Dinesh Karthik's late blitz has propelled Royal Challengers Bangalore to a strong 207 for 4. No total higher than this has ever been chased down in the IPL playoffs previously. Can Lucknow Super Giants turn the script tonight?

Dinesh Karthik joins Rajat Patidar to pile on further misery. The duo take Dushmantha Chameera for 21 runs in the 19th over.

CENTURY With a cracking swipe to a length delivery by Mohsin Khan, which flew over the mid wicket fence, Rajat Patidar brings up his hundred.

Deepu says: 92* by Patidar is the highest by an RCB player in IPL knockouts/Play Offs surpassing Chris Gayle's 89 vs MI in the second qualifier in 2011

Rajat Patidar is now taking down Ravi Bishnoi in the 16th over - 6.4.6.4.6.27 runs from the over.
