STUMPS, DAY 2: England's woes continue

A typical day for England. Started with some promise and then ended on a sorry note. James Anderson and co. bowled Australia out for 267 to give the visitors a glimmer of hope. However, the batters once again flopped on a helpful pitch to find themselves at 22 for 4. The tourists are still trailing and a long way away. Australia would look to wrap up the series tomorrow with England ending the day on 31/4.

OUT!! And OUT! Boland bowled just the one over and has returned two wickets! England are in shambles!

TWO IN TWO!! Starc is on a hat-trick!! Malan is given out LBW!He reviews but to no avail.

OUT!! There's the edge and Crawley falls to Starc early.England lose their first with 7 on the board.

Just short as Crawley has an escape

ALL OUT! Boland edges and Australia are 267 all out. They've taken a lead of 82. England made a brilliant comeback on Day 2 after being bundled for 185 on Day 1. Led by Anderson's four, Mark Wood and Robinson were brilliant too chipping in with wickets at regular intervals and at no stage letting Australia get away. They've given it their all and it's game on in Melbourne!

Robinson is back, and can bowl too!

OUT!Cummins miscues one and James Anderson picks up his fourth wicket. This one was a short one and Cummins for the toe-end of the bat for a lob to backward point. Australia are 9 down. That was a handy cameo from Cummins with Australia's lead standing at 68.

Robinson leaves the field...limps off after perhaps hurting himself after slipping attempting to take that return chance off Starc

Dropped!Robinson puts down Starc in his follow-through. Starc hit that quite hard to be honest...Got both hands, but couldn't hold on.

Wonderful effort from Anderson, bt he can't hold on to a pull from Pat Cummins

Australia's lead is past 50

Now it is the turn of Stokes. He has lured Carey into the big drive, caught by Buttler. Australia lead by 34 but England have shown some admirable fighting spirit today.

Leach into the action. Another wicket down as Leach removes Green. He was struck around the keen-roll and the umpire adjudged him LBW. The all-rounder took the review but to no avail as the tracker showed it to be clipping the leg-stump.

We're back for the final session
