Vijay Shankar led from the front to help Tamil Nadu open their account with a 12-run win over Maharashtra. Vijay struck 42 off 21 to help the side post 167 for 4. While he failed to pick a wicket from his two overs, Murugan Ashwin and R Sai Kishore were economical to strangle Maharashtra.
