I thought Leask and Cross played well. 120 would have given us a better chance. It was important we put the AFG game behind us. We were confident today, but we didn't execute. Smit takes Namibia through

Two fours and two sixes in a 23-ball innings of 32*. Helps Scotland overcome wobble and get those two points. Namibia effectively clinched this in the first over of the match with that three overs. This win takes them above India and New Zealand in the standings... Just saying.

A fourth one goes down... Namibia under pressure?

Namibia's go steady had brought the required run-rate to 6. But a straight six from Craig Williams off Mark Watt helps ease the pressure a little. 50/1 in 9 overs.

Under-par one would think even with the slow pitches here in the UAE. It was an uphill climb once they lost three big wickets in the first over of the match. Michael Leask did well with that 44. But is that enough? Can Scotland make a match out of it? Namibia well in front right now at the break...

Leask falls for 44 off 27. Gets far too across his stumps to play the attempted at scoop. Misses and Smit hits the stumps. Has that cost Scotland at least 15 runs.

Almost single-handedly keeping Scotland in this. Can they fight with a score of around 120-130? In another innings that they've struggled, he's on 44* off 25. He's targeting the shorter boundaries with his pull shots.

A brief recovery and then another wicket

Matthew Cross and Michael Leask put on a 39-run stand from 34 balls and just when Scotland could think of a recovery -- Leask hit a four and a six off the last two balls-- than they've been set back again. Frylinck cleans up Matt Cross. 57/5 now.

No end in sight for Scotland's nightmare.
