Bangladesh fast bowler Shahadat Hossain has returned to competitive cricket after serving a ban for a period of 18 months after his plea to reduce the initial five-year ban was granted by the Cricket Board.

Shahadat was banned in November 2019 for five years after he slapped a team-mate during a first-class match but he had
