Live Cricket Score - RR vs MI, Match 45, IPL 2020

Stokes, you freak!
That's it then! RR have chased down MI's 195/5 with *checks scorecard again*10 BALLS to spare. Incredible, incredible batting from the Englishman, who has perhaps put his batting position debate to rest. He's saved his best for one of the best bowling attacks of the tournament. A 152-run stand for the third-wicket between Stokes and Sanju Samson - who did a fantastic job of being an able ally to Stokes with an undefeated 54 off 31 balls - did the trick for Steve Smith's side. And they now live to die another day.
They have 10 points from 12 games now and can get to 14 at max. They still need other results to go their way but this was quite an effort to ensure they prolong their stay in the tournament. Their next game - against fellow playoffs aspirants KXIP on October 30.
And with this result, it is now official that Chennai Super Kings will not make it to the playoffs - for the first time ever in the history of IPL. Despite the result earlier today, CSK can no longer finish fourth, bringing the end of an incredibly successful era.
Where did the game change you ask? Here's the answer...

This is now RR's game to lose?
What a chase this has been. After Stokes's 28-ball half-century, Samson has smashed his fify off 27 balls. The duo has brought the equation down to 39 off 30 balls. Can't lose it from here, surely?
STAT ALERT: Sanju Samson now has the most # of sixes in this IPL - 23!
18 off Pattinson
Oh the chase is so on! After a superb opening spell of 2 for 12 in 2 overs, James Pattinson has been taken apart for 18 in his third. Pattinson started with a full wide ball but Stokes reached it and carved in through extra cover. Samson then took a leaf out of Hardik Pandya's books and went depep into the crease to smoke a back of a length delivery for a six over long off. He capped off the over with a cheeky run down to the third man fence. Pressure on Mumbai Indians now!
FIFTY for Ben Stokes!
Is he onto something here? The shots have not stopped flowing even with the fall of a couple of wickets. He's reached a half-century of just 28 balls. RR have 99/1 in 10 overs. Can they really pull off the chase here?
RR jolted
Steve Smith looked in the mood today when he took on Jasprit Bumrah in the fourth over. But James Pattinson has cleaned him up in the fifth.
Robin Uthappa falls early
Not the start RR would've wanted. Robin Uthappa is gone, trying to smash a 140kmph short ball from James Pattinson. That results in a simple catch for Kieron Pollard at mid-off.
Incredible hitting from Hardik Pandya takes MI to 195/5
A 21-ball 60 for Hardik Pandya as MI smash 74 off the last 24 balls to get Mumbai Indians to 195/5. After carting Rajpoot for four sixes in 27-run over, he has smashed two fours and two sixes of Kartik Tyagi in the final over - another 27-run over. Incredible, incredible hitting.

Excellent over from Jofra amidst MI madness - W 1 0 1 01
Hardik-v-Jofra could be fun!
Fasten your seatbelts folks.
MI upto their death-overs antics again!
As if like a switch, Mumbai Indians have turned on their death-overs madness. At 16 overs, MI were on 121/4. After 18, they have 165/4! All thanks to incredible hitting from Hardik Pandya, who has ripped Ankit Rajpoot to shreds in a 27-run over with four sixes in it.
Cleaned him up!
What is going on? MI have lost three quick wickets, including that of Kieron Pollard who has been dismissed for the first time this season since the tournament opener against CSK. Shreyas Gopal has cleaned him up. RR are putting quite a turnaround in place.
Women's T20 Challenge will be played in Sharjah on November 4, 5, 7 and 9.
WHAT.A.CATCH!
What have you just pulled off there, Jofra Archer? Ishan Kishan slashed hard and top-edged Kartik Tyagi. Jofra at third man misjudged it first and took a step forward, but then realised the ball was travelling fast and could sail over his head. So he put in an incredible jump, had a hang time and plucked the ball with a one-handed blinder. Reactions of his teammates should tell you everything you need to know about this take.
