For the first time in IPL history, a game had to be decided by two Super Overs as Mohammed Shami matched, bettered even, Jasprit Bumrah's yorker spree to defend five in the first of the one-over shootouts. Chris Jordan then conceded 11 in the second Super Over before Chris Gayle and Mayank Agarwal chased the target down off four Trent Boult deliveries.

And given that even the first game of the double-header Sunday was also tied in regular time, Twitter went into a frenzy.
