Ben Stokes's 135* helped England seal a dramatic one-wicket win in the third Test against Australia, at Headingley on Sunday, and level the Ashes 1-1. Needing 73 to win when Jack Leach, the last batsman, walked out to bat, the England all-rounder took the side through with a counter-attacking display of batting.

It has been barely six months since Kusal Perera's astounding 153* against South Africa, that Stokes has produced another excellent batting display, one that would contest to be amongst the greatest ever in Test history. Here's how the Twitter world reacted to this thrill-a-minute finish and Stokes's exceptional batting display.
