India overcome tenacious Afghanistan for fourth win
Live cricket score - India vs Afghanistan, Match 28, ICC Cricket World Cup 2019

Nabi starts off brilliantly in the final over, striking the first ball from Shami for a four to bring up a fine half-century. He turns down a single off the next, and then...fails to clear Pandya at long-on. Such heartbreak for Afghanistan. But a terrific knock from him nevertheless. With 12 needed off three, Aftab falls for a first-ball duck, bowled by Shami, who also cleans up Mujeeb to bag a hat-trick and bowl India to a 11-run win.
This is also India's 50th win in the World Cup and it didn't come easy, thanks to a fighting performance from Afghanistan. They go out fighting as this loss has confirmed that Afghanistan can't progress to the next round.
49th over:
A string of yorkers from Bumrah in the 49th over as he gives away only five runs. 16 needed for Afghanistan in the final over. Can Nabi pull this off?
Tight over:
Nabi survives a leg-before decision from the onfield umpire, reversing it with the help of DRS as the impact was outside off from Shami. But only three runs from the over, and it's now 21 needed for Afghanistan off 12 deliveries.
Nabi continues to fight:
Pandya misses a direct hit to give Nabi a reprieve and the all-rounder makes India pay by clearing the square-leg fence off Bumrah. The equation is now down to 24 off the last three overs.
Chahal ends Rashid fight:
Rashid was starting to build a partnership with Nabi, and even reverse-swept Chahal for a four. But a flighted delivery does the track as Chahal draws him out of the crease and Dhoni does the rest behind the stumps. Afghanistan are 190 for 7, needing 35 more off 26. With this stumping, Dhoni has extended his tally of stumpings to 140 in List A cricket, going past Moin Khan for most such dismissals.
Second wicket for Pandya:Najibullah fails to keep a flick down, handing a catch to Chahal. He departs for 21, leaving Afghanistan at 166 for 6.
Afghanistan fight:
A fine comeback from Afghanistan despite losing quick wickets. They haven't thrown in the towel, with Nabi and Najibullah putting on a crucial stand. Afghanistan need 60 more from 54.
Wicket for Chahal:
Afghan fails in his attempt to execute a slog sweep off Chahal and he departs for 8 off 19. Afghanistan are 130 for 5 after 35.
The target is now 100...But the required rate has gone up, With Afghanistan needing to score at 6.25 in 16 overs. Can Asghar Afghan and Nabi hold the nerve in what promises to be a tense finish?
Bumrah strikes:
The leg-before decision not given hasn't put off Bumrah, who bowls one short at Shah and has him caught out at the deep for 36. Shahidi falls soon after, handing a catch back to Bumrah off a leading edge, leaving Afghanistan at 106 for 4 after 29.
Loud shout for leg-before...and not given:India don't have a review, and Bumrah is frustrated. He rapped Shah on the pads with an incoming delivery but umpire Aleem Dar is not convinced. Replays revealed that it was umpire's call, so fair enough. Meanwhile, another useful partnership is on, between Shah and Shahidi.
Finally, it pays off:
Pandya's persistence with short deliveries finally bears fruit as Naib falls in his attempt to play the pull, miscuing it to Vijay Shankar. He departs for 27 off 42, leaving Afghanistan at 64 for 2 in the 17th over.
Naib, Shah build steady stand:
A steady partnership developing between Naib and Rahmat Shah. Hardik Pandya has had an expensive start, with his short-ball ploy back-firing so far. Apart from conceding five wides, Pandya has also been struck for two fours by Naib as Afghanistan move to 54 for 1 after 12.
Zazai's struggle comes to an end: The Afghanistan opener departs for 10 off 24, bowled by Shami after trying to play across the line. Afghanistan are 20 for 1 in the seventh over.
Review lost:Shami raps on Zazai's pads with a straighter delivery but the onfield call is not out. India opt for the review but replays reveal that the ball had marginally pitched outside leg. A review lost for India and Kohli isn't happy as he's seen speaking to umpire Richard Illingworth. And Zazai continues to struggle putting bat to ball.
Jittery start:Hazratullah Zazai has played down the wrong line a few times against Mohammed Shami and Jaasprit Bumrah. But no damage done as yet. It's been a fiery start from the Indian new-ball bowlers, who have gone past the edge on a few occasions in the first three overs.
While we wait to see if India can defend this total, here are some numbers:
