Easy win in the end for Australia then. Tamim scored a half-century but failed to kick on. Mahmudullah and Rahim revived the chase with their big stand but twin strikes from Coulter-Nile meant the game was beyond Bangladesh.

For Australia, the top three scored and that made the difference. Warner got a massive ton while Khawakja missed it narrowly. Finch gave the team a good start with his half-century and laid the platform for the middle-order to cash in.

If only Bangladesh had bowled better, this would have been a thriller. Australia go on top with their fifth win from their sixth games.
