Gunathilaka and Karunaratne have helped Sri Lanka off to another good start. They have put on a half-century stand, coming at a healthy scoring rate. They have employed the sweep to good effect to blunt Keshav Maharaj's threat. The left-arm spinner has bowled eight overs without interruption from one end.

Dimuth Karunaratne and Danushka Gunathilaka are off to a quick start in the second innings. With a healthy first innings lead, they can afford to go on the offensive to further dampen South Africa's spirits.
