India vs Pakistan, Match 6, Asia Cup 2025
India struck in the opening two overs to peg Pakistan back early in the game.
Pakistan appeared to steady the ship by the end of the powerplay but had a huge task in hand in the middle overs.
However, India's spinners wreaked havoc in the middle overs, striking regularly.
Kuldeep was the pick of the bowlers as his strikes reduced Pakistan to 64/6 at one point.
Shaheen Afridi's cameo proved to be vital for Pakistan as he dragged them past 120.
Abhishek Sharma got off to a flier in the chase.
Gill fell early though at the other end.
Saim Ayub removed Abhishek as well inside the powerplay but India were still well ahead in the chase.
Tilak Varma and Suryakumar Yadav batted sensibly in the middle overs as India eventually got past the finish line with 25 balls to spare.
