Mohammed Rizwan carried on from where he left off and struck another half-century becoming the only Pakistani to score three consecutive 50-plus scores in T20Is.

South Africa were spectacular in the field, taking their catches as Shamsi and Pretorius derailed Pakistan's innings.

Dwaine Pretorius finished with 5-17 - the best figures for a South African in T20Is as Pakistan were kept to 144 in 20 overs.

Shaheen Afridi struck early with the new ball to peg South Africa back early in the powerplay.

South Africa lost early wickets, but Reeza Hendricks and Pite van Biljon added 77 runs for the third wicket.

Both set batsmen fell in quick succession but had put South Africa on course for the win. In the end, they chased the target down in 16.2 overs to pick up a sic-wicket win.
