England vs West Indies, 3rd Test, Day 3, Manchester
Shane Dowrich struggled against the short balls peppered in by Archer.
Once Stuart Broad was brought in, after West Indies had avoided the follow-on, he struck immediately.
With four wickets in as many overs, Broad returned with figures of 6-31 as West Indies were bowled out for 197, conceding a 172-run lead.
Jason Holder was struck on the thumb early on in England's second innings because of which he couldn't bowl upfront.
Dowrich was struck on the face by a Shannon Gabriel bouncer and left the field. Joshua de Silva filled in for him.
Rory Burns and Dom Sibley added a century stand for the first wicket, taking England's lead close to 300 en route respective 50s.
Sibley scored a fifty along with Burns for England's first century stand for the first wicket since 2016.
Holder struck after Sibley's fifty, trapping him leg-before, but by then England's lead was beyond 300.
Broad reduced West Indies to 10/2 at stumps on Day 3, after England set them a target of 399. That, with two days to play.
