After a blazing start, New Zealand struck early to pick up regular wickets.

Despite being ahead of the required run-rate for most part of the innings, Sri Lanka lost wickets in a heap towards the end.

New Zealand finished with a 35-run win in the lone T20, as Sri Lanka remained winless on their tour of New Zealand.
