Kane Williamson was adjudged the Man of the Match for his record ton and an unbeaten half century in the match.

Donald Tiripano showed resolute defense in the first one and half hour of the day, before wrongly being adjudged leg before wicket.

The second poor umpiring decision resulted in the dismissal of Craig Ervine. He was given caught behind at the stroke of Lunch.

Zimbabwe's innings fell apart in the second session, as they lost the last five wickets within 35 minutes of the second session. New Zealand won the match by 254 runs.
